Our 100% pure new wool felt is made from Merino wool, which is felted in Europe using safe and ethical processes.
BioFelt is the most natural 100% woollen felt available. Each BioFelt colour is created by mixing natural sheep wool colours. It is not dyed.
This felt is of exquisite quality and is soft yet strong. It is hard-wearing, pill resistant, naturally stain-resistant and non-flammable, making it perfect for many craft projects including Steiner inspired toys, Waldorf dolls and Softies.
This colour felt sheets are available in the following sizes:
Sheets 20 cm x 30 cm (approx 8" x 12").

These felts are 1 - 1.2 mm thick and are ideally suited to use with the felt patterns and creative cards listed in my shop. This is the preferred felt used by the designers of May Blossom and Ric Rac patterns.
BioFelt is certified safe for babies and children under Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textiles. Product has been tested for chemicals known to be harmful to health, such as lead, and conforms to the highest safety class (product class 1).
We try our best to represent our felt colours as accurately as possible in the pictures but appearance of colour may vary between computer monitors.
For repeat orders there may be some slight difference in colour between dye lots. This is standard for all types of fabric, including wool felt.
