Sacre bleu, sacred blue or holy blue has been the classic colour of France since the 15th century. Religion and politics both have claimed this colour to be the colour of courage.
This collection of blues is inspired by summers in France and dyeing the antique white linen scraps into a beautiful shad of Woad blue.
This latest fabric features three of French General's favourite blues, French Blue, Woad Blue and Indigo. They have also woven in a bit of Ciel Bleu for a subtle play of colours.
